Q10/5 - Please note that the course details have been corrected on the web site and the revised details are here.. Wigmore CC Bill Philbrook Memorial 25 mile TT - The time is fast approaching when the Wigmore CC again promote their very popular Bill Philbrook Memorial ‘25’. As courses go Chilham (Q25/8) is just about the quickest course available in Kent. It is no drag strip but Ben Instone’s 52-37 course record two years ago is testament to what can be achieved. Last year a record entry for the event with 110 riders on the Start Sheet.. A record too for the County with 29 riders going inside the hour. A record that is, if we exclude the National that came to Kent in 1984 and those balmy days in the 1970’s on the Q25/3. As always a super Prize List and it does not all go to the quickest riders. 2009 another bumper entry? I hope so. Do not be put off by my Lincolnshire address. I will be down to promote the event for the 27th year.
